Bloody Banana Potato harvest!

Last fall I grew Bloody Banana along with a few other diploid potato varieties. I planted them at the end of Sept. (in CA zone 9b), and killing frost held off until mid-Dec. I got a great harvest of tubers, but I was actually even more excited that BB produced a heavier crop of berries than any other potato I have ever grown!

The only other potato that flowered along with BB was one with deep yellow flesh and purple skin. So the crosses between these two should yield some nice stuff when I start growing out the seeds.

They look great. You can tell that your climate is warmer, since the BB lacks red pigment in the flesh. I think that cross has great potential.
